We Were Just the Kids from the Village
Back in 2005, my aunty founded a dance group with one goal in mind—to keep her nieces involved in something meaningful. It started as a way to help us stay on track in life, giving us something positive to be part of outside of school.
But she didn’t stop with just us. She opened the doors to anyone and everyone who wanted to join. It became her act of service—a place for the youth and young adults to feel seen, supported, and safe. A home where we could discover our talents, build friendships, and grow in confidence.
We were just the kids from the village—but through her love, we became so much more.

To empower those through dance by providing a safe, supportive space to grow, express themselves, and build lasting confidence, community, and purpose.
